Extensive background in acute care and psychiatric inpatient facilities. I was the lead teacher at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington from 2007 until the school closed in 2015.
I started my graduate studies at the University of the District of Columbia as I transitioned to the Psych Counselor role in 2015 working with adolescents and adults until my departure in July 2019. I have 12 1/2 years of experience providing one on one and group assistance with children, adolescents and adults with anger, anxiety, self-esteem deficits, mood management, PTSD, sexual abuse, identity issues, substance abuse and coping skill development.
